He brings 38% hard hit and 34% fly ball rates with a 94 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days into this game, a well. Framber Valdez will be taking the mound for Houston today. He owns a 4.21 xFIP and a 4.55 SIERA through 20 games (5 starts). He has allowed right-handed batters to hit for a .272 average with a .469 slugging percentage and a .346 wOBA this season. Mike Trout has posted a .286 average with a .548 slugging percentage and a .923 OPS over his last 10 games. He owns four extra-base hits (three home runs) in those games, as well. Trout also enters this game with 44% hard hit and fly ball rates to go along with a 91 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. He has been a better option against right-handed pitching, but similarly to Bregman, Trout is a player that can find success against anyone. This is a play for the Astros with Trout simply sliding in as an elite player on the other side.
