The Atlanta Braves get a great matchup against Steven Matz on this slate. He has been a night and day pitcher at home and on the road, as his xFIP balloons to 5.23 outside of Citi Field. Furthermore, he has allowed his opponents to post a 42.3% hard hit rate, while posting only a 15.5% soft hit rate away from home in 2019. Ronald Acuna Jr. has been playing at an elite level recently, posting a .391 average with a .935 slugging percentage and a 1.375 OPS over his last 10 games. Over that span, he boasts nine extra-base hits (eight home runs). He possesses 50% hard hit and 38% fly ball rates to go along with a 94 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days, as well. Acuna also brings 0.083 wOBA and 0.105 ISO differentials against left-handed pitching into this game. Ozzie Albies is another player that has been his best against left-handed pitching, as he possesses 0.148 wOBA and 0.119 ISO differentials against lefties. He has also caught fire over his last 10 games, recording a .435 average with a .804 slugging percentage and a 1.274 OPS over that span. He owns eight extra-base hits (three home runs) in those contests, as well. Albies also enters this game with 50% hard hit and 38% fly ball rates to go along with a 94 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days. Dallas Keuchel has also struggled at times this season, posting a 4.03 xFIP, although he has been better at home in 2019. He has been at his worst against right-handed batters, allowing them to hit for a .284 average with a .484 slugging percentage and a .355 wOBA this season. J.D. Davis has been one of the hottest bats in the New York Mets lineup recently, as he owns a .375 average with a .844 slugging percentage and a 1.265 OPS over his last 10 games. He has also posted seven extra-base hits (four home runs) over that span. Davis brings 43% hard hit and 34% fly ball rates with a 94 MPH exit velocity over the last 15 days into this game, as well. Davis has been slightly better against right-handed pitching, but this is still a matchup he can take advantage of tonight.
